Start by taking your super jumbo popsicle sticks and writing numbers 1 to 10 on each of them, leaving one number blank, using a Sharpie permanent marker. Print neatly across the stick, ensuring that the numbers are well-visible for your child.
To create the missing number mystery, leave one of the popsicle sticks without a number. This blank spot will be where your child needs to find the missing number.
Write numbers 1 to 10 individually on the clothespins using the Sharpie marker. Each clothespin should have a different number on it, corresponding to the numbers on the popsicle sticks.
Invite your child to join in the fun! Show them the popsicle sticks with numbers 1 to 10 and the clothespins labeled with the same numbers.
